Master Account Authentication error in Power BI Embed

Team,

I'm trying to Embed my client application with Power BI using MasterUser Authentication as they needs report creation, Report editing, Saving..etc in the Embedded Application. When I run the sample solution after proving App ID, My user Name and PWD ( using my creds as MasterUser), I'm getting below error. Please suggest.

AADSTS50076: Due to a configuration change made by your administrator, or because you moved to a new location, you must use multi-factor authentication to access '00000009-0000-0000-c000-000000000000'. Trace ID: 42e066ca-b0c6-4c90-949b-1bb8a86dac00 Correlation ID: 11f0298f-51e1-4db4-86c7-2e83ca3d8f52 Timestamp: 2024-02-09 17:23:21Z

Hi @ramesh_valluri

The error message you're receiving indicates that Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is required for your account to access the resource. This is typically enforced by your organization's Azure Active Directory (AAD) tenant policies.

Here are steps to address the AADSTS50076 error:

  1. MFA Setup: Ensure that Multi-Factor Authentication is set up correctly for your account. You might need to configure an MFA method such as a phone call, text message, or authenticator app.

  2. Admin Consent: Ensure that the necessary admin consent has been granted to the application in Azure Active Directory for the required permissions. Without admin consent, the application might not be able to access the Power BI service.
