Hello all,
I'm back with another installment of
Trying to add a new gateway to the brand spanking new server we set up recently which holds all my reporting datasets, however when I navigate to
>Settings
>Manage Connections and gateways
>On Premise data gateways....
To add my shiny server, there no add button? There should be a little add button top left.
Is this permissions? Am I missing something? Do I need different access / admin etc?
Any help much appreciated!

@Anonymous - Yeah, I think you have to do it via the gateway installer and register it that way. Please confirm these steps work for you.

MCSA: BI ReportingGood question. MS seems to have hidden the New feature really well. I'm looking for it...

MCSA: BI ReportingHey, not yet.... I had a lot of connectivity and credentials issues to overcome today. I am going to tackle the gateway but need my IT dept to step in due to permissions....
I will confirm if solution is right one soon, but reading up on it, you seem to be bang on!
Did you create the new gateway on a machine and log into the service on that tenant? That might be the only way to create the gateway. It should then show up in the dropdown when you go to create a new on prem data source.
