I have an issue with my Sharepoint credentials for a datasource in Power BI, I've navigated to the Manage Gateways area of PBI Service to the Data Preview screen, but I don't have access to the data source settings so I can view and make changes to my sources. I am the only PBI admin at this workplace, I have never come across this issue before. I have gone through the options in the tenant settings and can't find any options that seem to relate to this.
Has anyone else had the same issue or knows if any settings have changed or where the settings are located that I need to update? I only created this dataset 3 weeks ago and I created everything myself, including configuring the gateway settings. My next step is to contact our external IT managers to see uf they have made any changes to my 365 account, perhaps? Everything else for me in PBI Service seems ok. This gateway is not in personal mode. Help is much appreciated!
In case it is important - my password was updated yesterday, but I can access all Microsoft applications just fine.
** I've been able to temporaily work around this issue by publising the refreshed pbix file to the service - but this is not a solution as I'd have to do this everyday. Publishing the file doesn't update the credentials in the gateway.
What I Expect to See (please ignore the red shape - i should have excluded that from the snapshot!!)
What I Do See (btw, I've got a gateway - I just haven't included it in the snapshot)
Solved! Go to Solution.
I have turned off the Tenant Administration button. Now data source tab showing.

Thanks so much - why didn't I try that 🙂 🙂
