I set up a data source connection to a SharePoint folder in Power BI Desktop that loads tables from a Microsoft Access Database stored in that SharedPoint folder. After i publish the dashboard to the workspace and try to refresh the data it gives the following error:
DataSource.NotFound: Microsoft Access: The 'Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0' provider is not registered on the local machine. The 64-bit version of the Access Database Engine OLEDB provider may be required to read this type of file. To download the client software, visit the following site: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=285987.. Microsoft.Data.Mashup.ErrorCode = 10478. . The exception was raised by the IDbCommand interface. Table:XXX

Hi @rosa_pch ,
Follow this steps -
Keep your .accdb file in your computer/VDI and install power bi gateway(personal mode). Next, you need to republish your report. I'm pretty sure it will work as I already helped 2 users at our tenant.
I hope this helps.
Thanks,
Sai Teja
Hi @rosa_pch,
Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Fabric Community Forum.
Power BI Service does not support Microsoft Access database files, especially when stored in SharePoint, due to the absence of the required Access Database Engine.
To resolve this, we recommend moving the data from Access to a supported format such as Excel (stored in SharePoint or OneDrive), SQL Server, or SharePoint Lists. Once migrated, update your Power BI report to connect to the new source, publish it, and configure a scheduled refresh.
If using an on-premises SQL Server, please ensure a data gateway is set up for seamless refresh.

It is not possible to fix this issue
You could not use an access database in SharePoint with Power BI
I have this use case a few months ago, and I found some posts from microsoft saying that it was not supported
I created a flow with ssis to write the data from access to a sql database
Verify that your account has the necessary permissions to access the SharePoint site and its contents.
