Hi,
We have 2 premium capacity workspaces based on the premium embedded. One of them has always been set up as embedded and I can see Azure Log Analytics under the Azure Connection settings and can set it up if I want to with the relevant log analytics workspace, however, we have just assigned some capacity to another workspace and I cannot see it as an option under the settings? The workspace has the Diamond next to it to indicate that it has premium capacity.
Any ideas of what I need to do to get that option available?
Thanks,
Hi @xuxxay88
As far as I am currently aware a Log Analytics can only be assigned to a single App workspace.
You can vote for the idea here to get this changed: https://ideas.powerbi.com
Thanks, we haven't actually applied it to any workspace yet, my issue is that I have the option to set it up on one workspace (the one I don't want to set it up on) but not the other (the one I want to set it up on). Both have premium capacity.
Hi, @xuxxay88
There are many prerequisites and considerations when configuring Azure Log Analytics for Power BI, such as:
1.Only Workspace v2 support Log Analytics connections.
2.You cannot connect multiple Power BI workspaces to the same Log Analytics workspace yet.
