Power BI Service newbie here. I am working from a Mac on a Chrome Browser. For some reason, when I try to get data and choose local file the directory doesn't pop-up to search for the file. There is no error. I have tried closing and restarting chrome. I have also checked to make sure that I allowed pop-ups in the preferences. Is there anything I'm not thinking of? Thanks for the help!
Hi @emilyek ,
Please try the same from incognito mode since browser cache issue might be restricting your import of data.
Also, it is highly recommended to use Power BI Desktop(either in Windows machine or in VM used from Mac's browser) for creation of reports.
If the issue still exists after using in Incognito mode with Pop-Ups allowed, I'll suggest you to raise a ticket with MS Support for assistance.

The directory might sent to the back side. Try Alt+Tab and search.
