We are experiencing an issue displaying external images on our PowerBI reports. We get the following error:
"The external image cannot be loaded as outbound connectivity has been disabled by your organiztion's administrator. Please contact your administrator for more information."
I am still quite new to MS Azure / PowerBI. Can someone perhaps assist me as to where to enable outbound connectivity? I am not sure if this is located in the Azure, 365 or PowerBi admin portal.
Power BI visuals are enabled for the organization:
Hi , @Stefan84
Based on my research and query on your currently met error message "the external image can't be loaded because the outbound connectivity has been disabled by your admin" in the Power BI report, this should be related to your network traffic of your Power BI service portal may be blocked by the tenant admin, and may also be related to the "block public network" option in your admin portal settings. You may contact your network admin to detailed check these two options in the admin portal settings and make sure they are unchecked for your tenant:
If they are not unchecked for your tenant, I think this might be the reason why you met this error message in the power bi report, you can also detailed refer to this official link regarding to these private network options:

Thank you for your time and sharing, and thank you for your support and understanding of PowerBI!

To add to my previous post, when copying the "failed to load" image URL to a new browser tab, it displays the image. The image is available via the internet from any browser, but not displaying in the report.
