Live connection to AAS broken after UpdateDatasources

Hello,

I am successfully importing a report with a live connection to AAS, programmatically via the REST API.

However, after re-pointing the report to a different database on the same server with the same schema, using UpdateDatasources, the report no longer pulls data correctly.  Instead, it reports the error: "There is no gateway to access the data source XXX"

I have inspected the parameters ad-nauseum, the call does succeed, and the database exists.  What might this slighly mysterious message portend?

Thanks!

Hi @rosulent_thnkr ,

Would you please try to clean browser cache and retry it? For cached models, the dataset must be refreshed to get the data from the new data sources. Wait 30 minutes for the update datasources operation to complete before refreshing.

Datasources that contain parameters on the connection string are not supported.

For more details, please refer to  https://docs.microsoft.com/zh-cn/rest/api/power-bi/datasets/updatedatasources

Best Regards,

Dedmon Dai
