Live Connection SQL Server

Hi,

I have created a report that's connected with SQL Server live (Direct Query).

However, after publish to powerbi services it stoped working as Direct Query.

Could you please help me?

depending on where the SQL Server is located (on-premises or in the cloud), you might need to set up a gateway connection.

Hi Nicky, Thanks a lot for reply.

SQL server is hosted on Google Cloud.

Direct query working fine at desktop, having issue only at PowerBI Services.

I'm not familiar with how Google Cloud works, but I suspect that you need a gateway for Power BI to connect. Have you set that up?
