Hello,
When I export data from my report using the "Data with current layout" option, the columns appear in the correct order as shown in the service (e.g., col1, col2, col3, col4).
However, when I export "Summarized Data" with a live connection, the order of the columns changes unexpectedly (e.g., col2, col1, col4, col3).
Is there a way to prevent this column order change when exporting summarized data without creating a calculated table?
Thank you.
Hi @anilelmastasi I actually is a limitation:
The granularity of data exported to Excel using the Data with current layout and Summarized data options are identical and the only difference between the options is the shape of the data in Excel. For example, in a matrix visual, the Data with current layout preserves the shape of the visual as shown in Power BI when data is exported to Excel while the Summarized data option exports the same data but as a flat table of rows and columns.
Other option is use to report builder 🙂
Hello @Peter_23 ,
Thank you but unfortunately column order changes. I will create a support ticket if anyone has not faced with problem.
