How can I stop a dataflow from automatically refreshing when a linked table that is coming from another dataflow is refreshing? All I want is the scheduled refresh time to start the dataflow and not a linked table to trigger it.
The problem is I have a Power Automate Flow that runs when the dataflow with the linked table completes on "Success". This causes a bunch of datasets to start their refresh, but I only wanted that to happen when the scheduled refresh was supposed to start. So these datasets are being updated twice each night.
If I uncheck "Enable Load" on the linked table source would that stop that from occurring? However, what other issues could happen with other queries and datasets that are using that linked table downstream?
Is there something I can do differently with the Flow to know only to start when the actual scheduled refresh is completed as Success?
@Anonymous Any thoughts on what may be happening and if there's anything I can do about it?
Hi @arock-well
So the dataflow is created by Link tables from other dataflows ?

@Anonymous
Yes, that is how I set a linked table from another dataflow. I also use this method when editing the dataflow I want to add a linked table source to:
