Licences required to share Report with RLS

Hi All,

I've created a report including RLS that I wish to share with the sales organisation.

I currently have a free user, would upgrading to a pro licence be sufficient to share with my audience?

Does my audience also need a pro licence to be able to use the report in the correct way or can they continue using their free user?

Thanks for your answer. Is there any way to share a report with RLS functionality to users with a free licences (f.i embedding trough sharepoint)?

Hi Mvdvoort,

Yes, for sharing capabilities both the person who is sharing the report and the people who need to receive and view the report will require a Pro licence.

Alternatively, if you need to provide the report to more than ~500 users, Power BI premium would be an option as well (this option is relatively expensive when you have few users but relatively cheaper when you have a lot of users).
