Hello,
I have a need to display millions of records using Kusto connected by Direct Query. Is there a way to implement pagination - where each page makes a kusto call to get restricted record count? Thanks for your help and much appreciate your time
Hi @Anonymous ,
I have some suggestions for you:
1.Use the take operator:
Take operator allows you to retrieve a specified number of rows from the query results. It is useful for interactively viewing a small sample of rows.
2.Stored query results:
Kusto supports storing query results in tables. You can use this feature for paging

The maximum number of records you can display anywhere in Power BI is about 5000. There are physiological limits.
Why would you need pagination if you have a Direct Query connection? Your visual DAX queries should fold back into KQL.
it is more of a make shift report. the objective is to use as search--thus relying on durect query cause it is telemetry data (real time would be good for the users). Going back to the Q---the need is to fold it into paginated KQL
