Hi
I have 3 sources connected to the PBI file.
Each one of them is on a different server and there is a gateway on each one of them.
The gateways are online as so are the data sources.
However, in the settings of the dataset, I get an error trying to connect to the 3 of them.
Why do I get 3 different screens for a connection?
Any help would be appreciated ,
Thank you
Tamir

Hi @tamiribas
Currently all data sources need to go through a single gateway.
Unfortunately what you are trying to do today is not possible. You need to have them all configured in one gateway.

Hi,
I am having exactly the same problem.
2 SQL Servers on the same network. I've put a gateway on both servers.
Any PBI report that has data from ONE Server, I can publish, point it at the right gateway/connection and it's all good - I can do scheduled refreshes.
However, if I create a report using data from both servers and I publish it, I can't point the datasources to the right gateway/connection. Well, I can but it won't let me appy it.
The answer above says that all data sources need to go through a single gateway.
I'm nearly certain a lot of people use PBI to bring data from mutiple sources and they need to do scheduled refreshes.
Could someone point me to how you can set up a single gateway on one of the servers and access the other server through it please.
Thanks!
