Issues refreshing when data model is Import.

Hello,

My data model with Import storage mode does not refresh in Power BI Service. It refreshes on Power BI Desktop. My data source is an Oracle database. The privacy levels for both my data source on desktop app and the gateway connection are set to Organizational level.

Error:
Data source error: {"error":{"code":"DM_GWPipeline_Gateway_MashupDataAccessError","pbi.error":{"code":"DM_GWPipeline_Gateway_MashupDataAccessError","parameters":{},"details":[{"code":"DM_ErrorDetailNameCode_UnderlyingErrorCode","detail":{"type":1,"value":"-2147467259"}},{"code":"DM_ErrorDetailNameCode_UnderlyingErrorMessage","detail":{"type":1,"value":"The key didn't match any rows in the table."}},{"code":"DM_ErrorDetailNameCode_UnderlyingHResult","detail":{"type":1,"value":"-2147467259"}},{"code":"Microsoft.Data.Mashup.ValueError.Key","detail":{"type":1,"value":"[Name = \"TABLE_NAME\"]"}},{"code":"Microsoft.Data.Mashup.ValueError.Reason","detail":{"type":1,"value":"Expression.Error"}},{"code":"Microsoft.Data.Mashup.ValueError.Table","detail":{"type":1,"value":"#table({\"Name\", \"Data\", \"Kind\"}, {})"}}],"exceptionCulprit":1}}} Table: TABLE_NAME.
Cluster URI: WABI-CANADA-CENTRAL-redirect.analysis.windows.net

Thank you very much.

Hi @BotCat

The error is indicating that there are no rows matching the key for the key columns in your particular table I will double check that these tables have the key columns in your oracle source.

Hi @BotCat ,
Thanks to @GilbertQ  for the great solution ideas, here's what I added.
Based on the error message you provided, this error typically occurs when Power Query is unable to find a matching key in the table it is trying to access. You need to ensure that the table name specified in the query exactly matches the table name in the Oracle database, including case-sensitivity. In addition, verify that the credentials used by the gateway have the required permissions to access this table, including case-sensitivity. Although you mentioned that the privacy level is set to Organization, double-check that the Power BI Desktop file and gateway data source settings match this configuration. Mismatched privacy levels can sometimes lead to unexpected errors during data refreshes.
If possible, please provide a screenshot of the data on your power bi service and a screenshot of the data in your database, including the names of your data columns, and please hide sensitive information in advance.

Best regards,

Albert He
