Issue with map rendering differently for different users

Hello,

I have a long standing published report which is frequently used by many users.

Today a user was using the report and the map visual was only showing a subsection of the countries.

"Must be a filter issue" I thought, as I loaded the same report on my computer and saw al of the countries.

No additional filters were being applied on the user's side.

No Bookmarks, nothing. I reset his slicers, I refreshed his browser.

Tried Chrome & Edge, interestingly in Edge - no countries were being mapped at all

In Chrome only a subset of what should be displayed

On my Edge browser and other user - all working perfectly.

Same report, same app, same time, same office, same browser.

What could be happening? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi @WGordon ,

Here are some suggestions that may help you solve your problem.

1. Please check whether the browser is the latest version. Outdated browsers may not support certain features or may render visuals differently.

2. Please try clearing your browser cache and cookies. Sometimes, cached data in the browser can cause rendering issues. I recommend clearing the browser cache and cookies for Chrome and Edge on the user's computer. This often resolves unexpected visual differences.

3. Please check for browser extensions. Browser extensions can sometimes interfere with the way web pages are displayed. If the user has any extensions installed, especially ad blockers or privacy tools, try temporarily disabling them or using an incognito/private browsing window to see if the problem persists.

If your Current Period does not refer to this, please clarify in a follow-up reply.

Best Regards,

Clara Gong
