Issue While Trying to update records in Power BI Streaming Dataset via Power Apps

We are trying to update records in Streaming Dataset Via Power apps for which we have followed below mentioned steps:

1 We created a streaming dataset in power bi services and generates an API endpoint to receive data in it.

2 Tested via python code that we are able to push data in it.

3 We developed an app in Power apps and integrated it with a power bi dashboard.

4 Created a custom connector in power apps to use API endpoint for streeaming dataset.

5 Connected Custom connector to the APP in power apps.

6 Used a code in button to pick value input by the user ans update it to specific row in specific column

Error

Same solution is working for another domain but not power bi connector i am receiving an error :owerBIStreamingConnector.PushDataToPowerBI failed: {"error":{"code":"KeyFoundInDeletedResourceKeyCacheException","pbi.error":{"code":"KeyFoundInDeletedResourceKeyCacheException","parameters":{},"details":[],"exceptionCulprit":1}}}

Hi @aryaa,
Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Fabric Community.

Its seems that you're facing the "KeyFoundInDeletedResourceKeyCacheException" error while trying to update a Power BI streaming dataset via Power Apps. Here are a few troubleshooting steps to help resolve this issue:

  • The API key for the dataset might have been regenerated or revoked. Please go to Power BI Service >> Dataset Settings >> Locate the streaming dataset >> Check the API key and endpoint. If the key has changed, update it in the Power Apps custom connector.
  • Make sure that the dataset still exists and is accessible in Power BI Service. Check whether your user account has the necessary permissions to update the dataset.
  • Power Apps might cache outdated settings. Try removing and re-adding the Custom Connector in Power Apps, then republish the app. Clear the browser cache before testing again.
  • If this works in another domain but not in your Power BI tenant, check if Power BI API access is restricted by your IT admin.
  • If the dataset was modified or recreated, try deleting and recreating the dataset, then generate a new API key and update it in Power Apps.

If this helps, kindly Accept it as a solution and give a "Kudos" so other members can find it more easily.

Thank you.
