Can someone help me understand what I am missing?
My Org uses Sharepoint folders chock full of Excel files to store and share info. I am trying to move us over to PBI full time but am failing because I am unable to figure out how to auto-refresh my reports.
My process so far is:
Get access to the Sharepoint folder.
Copy the link to the Excel file in question.
Get Data > Web > Paste link > Delete everything after the file extension
Build my report
Publish to BI
However, the only way for me to refresh is to open the report on my laptop, maually refresh, publish, and THEN refresh the Report in My Workspace.
Is there any other way?

Hi @CEllinger,
You can open the folder path and direct modify it with your file name.
Sample:
| Folder path | File Name |
| https://tenant.sharepoint.com/sites/xxxxx/TestShare/Forms/AllItems.aspx | test.xlsx |
Converted:
https://tenant.sharepoint.com/sites/xxxxx/TestShare/test.xlsx
After these steeps, you can use a web connector with above link to get data from share file URL.
Use OneDrive for Business links in Power BI Desktop

It is Sharepoint Online, yes.
When I try and use the connector, I cant even being to sort the files and folders (there is a lot of stuff in here ) when I use a URL that it will accept.
Any ideas?

Is this SharePoint Online or on-premises? You should probably be using the SharePoint Folder connector.
