The former admin of Power BI in my organization left the company and his license was reasinged to me, when I went to refresh his dataflow I could not find it, it seems to be gone. Is a dataflow attached to a specific set of credentials? Since I inherited his license, is there any way to restore the dataflow?
Thanks.

Hi @febm ,
Do you know which workspace the dataflow resided in before?
You also need to transfer the permissions of the workspace to you.
If a dataflow is deleted, unfortunately you cannot restore the deleted dataflow.

Thank you Gao! How do I transfer permissions? Would you know? The dataflow lived in a workspace that I can still see, where some shared data lives, seems only this data was deleted / lost.
Thanks again.
Hi @febm ,
1. Are you currently in the admin role for this workspace? If not, make yourself an administrator.
Roles in the new workspaces in Power BI
2. Some settings can only be managed by the dataflow owner. So you might want to take over the data flow.
You need to re-enter the credential.
