Hello Community!
I'm starting my journey as an automation analyst and just faced my first challenge: Find a way to apply environmental variables (or similar parameters) to PIB reports included into solution packages in Power Apps.
Since I need to export the package to different environments, I was wondering if there is a way to ensure that my report is able to switch trough the data sources (sharepoint lists) that each environment use while mantaining the same structure?
Thanks a lot for the feedback or solutions.
Have great day 🙂

Hi @AutoNoobie
Yes, you can apply environment variables to Power BI reports in a Power Apps solution, allowing them to switch data sources (e.g., SharePoint lists) across environments while maintaining structure.
Steps to Implement:

If the above information helps you, please give us a Kudos and marked the reply Accept as a Solution.
Thanks,

Power BI doesn't have a concept of environments. You are looking at tenants, capacities, and workspaces. Capacities can be physically situated in different geographical clusters. That can create issues when you are trying to access content across capacities and across tenants.
