I have a Slicer on one page, which I have set not to affect a specific visual on another page. However, it is still affecting it. Any suggestions, please? I can't deselect from Sync Slicers as I want the Slicer to affect other visuals on that destination page.
Solved! Go to Solution.
To be precise:
Edit interactions do not override synced slicers, but only if the slicer actually exists on that page (visible or hidden).
A hidden synced slicer on the destination page will still filter all visuals, and it can easily be overlooked.
So the first thing to check is exactly what you said:
Open View → Selection pane
Verify whether there is a hidden slicer on that page that is synced from another page
Also check View → Sync slicers to confirm which pages the slicer is synced to
If a synced slicer is present (even hidden), you cannot exclude a single visual from it.
If there is no slicer on that page at all, then Edit interactions should work as expected.

Many thanks, I found a hidden slicer on the destination page, I needed to edit the interactions to the visual based on that hidden slicer. Now all ok 😁
