Hello,
I am thouroughly impressed with the numeric range slicer but I am having inconsistent behavior with it in the service. With one of our published dashboards the range slicers all work in the service, it has a data import if that may matter. The other is direct query and the range slicer does not work, defaulting to a list of the values. Is the range slicer only supported in certain contexts in the service? Thanks.

Hi @mitchgrnr,
I could reproduce this scenario. If connecting to data source using Direct Query, the numeric range slicer will not work after publishing to Power BI service.
At the moment the numeric range slicer is just a preview feature, we'll add support on the service and improve its functionality in a future release. Thanks for your understanding.
Best regards,
Yuliana Gu
