OK, something tells me the answer will be I have to clean up my data by combining all the tables into one table, but here's a go anyway.
If I have 100 worksheets for a single Excel workbook that imported into Power BI as 100 tables, is there a way to quickly select values that are the same in each table (that is all at one when selecting a given data field and if all of the tables are expanded)?
Cool .
We can't do modeling stuff in Power BI Service.
For this u have to go with Power BI Desktop or SSAS Tabular MOdel. am sure that will help u .
But in Power BI services we can't do .
@jel888 When we're talking about power bi online (Service) - you can't do any modeling, calculations or transformations at all. Your data needs to be in the form you want to visualize it.
You should look at working with the Power BI Desktop - that is the tool that will allow you to manipulate your data (merge, append, transform, create calculated columns and measures, etc)
It's a free download. Once you shape your data there, you can publish the dataset and reports to the Service.
Thanks! I figured, but no can do on a MAC (no desktop version for Power BI). I'll have to transfer file to a PC.
