How to use an Analyze in Excel pbiazure in a separate Power BI report

Hello

I am exporting data to Excel from a Power BI report and from this Excel I take the pbiazure link, formatted like "pbiazure://api.powerbi.com afe5e6b5-cb44-4408-b9cd-xxxxxxxxxx Model" and I would like to know if I can create another Power BI report using this pbiazure Model as data source?

Thanks for your help

thanks amitchandak, you first link is answering my question. I was trying to export a PBI report to Excel then re-import on another PBI while there is a shortcut, we can directly import one PBI report from another 😉

@amitchandak do you know how to get the "pbiazure://api.powerbi.com..." connection string from the Power BI service? I want to repoint an Excel workbook from one source to another.

Did you ever find an answer to this? I am facing the same problem of wanting to keep my "template" excel workbook but want to change to different published powerBI workbook

Did either of you ever figure this out?  I'd also like to do this.  Thanks
