Hi,
We had in detailed information about the Report in Power BI Service line with data updated like in Microsoft documentation
But It was disappered from the previuous week.
Can you help, how to switch on Data updated?
We have the same problem. It is fine with some apps, not with others and we can not pin it to direct query versus import. The suggested solution does no longer seem valid, we don't find these settings when editing the report online.
To enable the "Data updated" section in the "Find detailed information about this report" section of the Power BI service:
Open the report in the Power BI service.
Select File from the top menu, then select Options and settings.
Select Options.
Under General, you will find the "Data source credentials" section. Make sure that the "Include last refresh time in the report" option is checked.
Click on Apply and OK
Publish the report again
Once you have published the report, the "Data updated" section should be visible in the "Find detailed information about this report" section of the Power BI service.
Please note that this feature only works when the data source credentials are stored in the report, and when the report is published in the service.
Also, please note that if you are using a DirectQuery or a Live Connection, the data updated information will show the last time the data source was queried, not the last time the data source was updated.
I think you answered the question in your message. I found out the model uses a storage mode of DirectQuery/Mixed, which you indicated in your post. Do you have a link where it discusses this somewhere?
Anyway, this is confusing, because when this model does refresh it shows the refresh time. Huh?
I think this is something Microsoft needs to fix.
@MAwwad I have a similar issue here: Re: Data Updated not showing up for some reports - Microsoft Fabric Community
However, the steps you listed above I cannot find when I try to do the same. For example, I can't find a "General" section.
Could you provide some screenshots so I can see where you're doing these settings updates?
