Hi,
In my organization, we have to display 2 different pages from a single web published report, through a digital signage solution (Telelogos). One screen = one page of the report.
Here is where I'm stucked :
I know that in the following URL :
https://app.powerbi.com/groups/31ff430a-XXXXXXXXX/reports/2aabd3b9XXXXXXXXXXXXXX/e2209f312XXXXXXXXXX...
31ff430a-XXXXXXXXX ==> ID of the workgroup / workspace
2aabd3b9XXXXXXXXXXXXXX ==> report ID
e2209f312XXXXXXXXXXX ==> page ID
When I try to display this page through our digital signage solution, the displayed page is always the "summary" of my report.
I saw several topics talking about specifying on the end of my URL "?pageName=nameOfMyPage" or "?pageIndex=indexOfMyPage"
That doesn't work.
Also, I tried with the "ReportSection" parameter, same issue.
Did someone here successfully display a specific page from a report by specifying these parameters (or others) in the URL ?
Thanks for help
Remi

Hi @RemiMas .
Hello @RemiMas ,
Thanks for reaching out to the Microsoft fabric community forum.
I would appreciate it if you could review the answer provided by @rohit1991 . As you mentioned, you will be trying an alternative approach. In addition, I would like to include some more points for your better understanding:
Please check the link below and follow the steps for embedding Power BI reports into portals:
Embed a report in a secure portal or website - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
I am also attaching an additional document that will assist you with filtering a report using query string parameters in the URL: Filter a report using query string parameters in the URL - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
Here is additional documentation that may be helpful for further understanding:
Supported browsers for Power BI and Fabric. - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
I hope my suggestions give you good ideas, if you need any further assistance, feel free to reach out.
If this post helps, then please give us Kudos and consider Accept it as a solution to help the other members find it more quickly.
Thank you.
Hi @v-tsaipranay ,
Thanks for your reply.
I spend all my last friday trying to reach the expected page of my report, but didn't manage to.
By discussing with a Power BI admin in my company, it seems that the encountered issue is due to the report itself.
When browsing all pages, the URL never mention the "ReportSection" parameter.
We analyzed the structure of the report file to check if the pages IDs are correct, there's no matter.
But by comparing with other published reports, some of them comport the ReportSection parameter in the URL, which permit us to reach an expected page by using this parameter.
The problem seems to be due to the version / level of the report.
Considering that I have to display the report with a digital signage solution within a very short time, I'll use the @rohit1991 workaround, by publishing expected pages separately of the main report.
Thanks for help,
Hi @RemiMas .
Hi @rohit1991,
I tried that and I always land on the summary page, not the expected one, even if I try the ?reportSection parameter.
I think it depends about something else throughout the report itself.
Also i think you're right talking about publishing expected pages as separate links.
I'll explore this solution and will come back to tag this thread as solved
