How to setup a gateway when data from Python which is an API to pull data from Jira

I have a API to pull data from Jira in Python which is using basic authentication as username, and API token. I am trying to set up a personal gateway to schedule a daily refresh but getting the error

Does the API work fine on PBI Desktop?

Python scripts only work with personal gateways. Make sure you have the latest version of Personal Gateway installed.

If you still have this issue for Power BI, you'd better create a support ticket in Power BI Support to get further help.

Yes, the API works fine in Power BI desktop, also I have installed the latest gateway setup.
