How to restrict end users from downloading a published PBIX in workspace?

Hi,

I created a dashboard that i publish in a workspace i created for my team. However, i want them to be able to edit (via Teams) but would prefer they don't dowload the PBIX. Is there a way to restrict workspace members from downloading the PBIX?

Hi @hibarrbm

To download the file, users must have edit access to the report.

In addition, the administrator needs to turn on the 'Dwonload report' option.

You can disable the 'Dwonload report' option, so that the users who able to edit can not dowload the PBIX.

i need to implement that to a specific workspace ... that solution applies enabling or disabling to ALL workspaces 

is there a recommended solution to disable downloading is a specific workspace only ?

Hi @hibarrbm 

What I would suggest doing is to create an App and then share the reports via the App in Teams.

When people view reports via an App it is in read-only mode so they will not be able to download the PBIX.
