Hello all,
I'm trying to work with unified Power BI datasets in my Service.
So, I have two different reports (A and B) in different workspaces (1 and 2) using the same Power BI dataset in the source database (D).
In order to not have duplicated datasets, I'm trying to use a single dataset in Power BI Service; So, how is the easiest way for me to replace that already existent B report with a linked Power BI dataset of A?
Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance!

This is a tried and true method. Use Power BI Rest API to rebind a report to a different dataset.
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/rest/api/power-bi/reports/rebind-report-in-group
You will need the workspace id, report id and dataset id.
Depending on how comfortable you are with the PBI REST APIs, or not, the below may be alternative approaches
