Hi all,
in our company we've integrated Veeva CRM (salesforce) to Power BI to follow the performance of the field force. For one market company we have a link in the Veeva CRM Account level that jump to Power BI application using an URL with a key parameter to filter the needed data in the Power BI report.
Right now we have the reverse need: to have a link in a specific Power BI report that opens Veeva CRM using an specific parameter. Anyone did it before?. How?.
Thanks!

Hi @ibarrau
I have a situation where users should navigate from the iPad Power BI app to the Veeva CRM app, which is installed in the same iPad.
According to Veeva documentation, it says we are supposed to use URLs in this format "veeva://Account/001j0000007Ir50AAC"
Ref Post 1: https://crmhelp.veeva.com/doc/Content/CRM_topics/Accounts/AcctsDefaultFunc/AccountDeepLinking.htm
Ref Post 2: https://crmhelp.veeva.com/doc/Content/CRM_topics/Multichannel/CLM/ManageCreateContent/CreatingConten...
Even after converting the URL mentioned above to URL data type, Power BI does not recognize it as a link. Due to this, it is not showing as a clickable link.
@tamerj1 @Sahir_Maharaj @amitchandak, your thoughts on this issue are highly appreciated.
Thanks,
Manendra

Hi. Yes you can. There are two ways that are usually used for this.
First, you can just create the links in your data model with all the parameters you need on the url to get in your CRM. Like this: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/create-reports/power-bi-hyperlinks-in-tables
Second, you can just add a button and change the action in formatting options to Web Url. Inside that you may be able to hardcode or use a measure to build the URL dynamically with the filter context.
I hope that helps,
Happy to help!
