How to get the status of last Power BI data flow r...

I want to sync dta flow and data set refresh in Azure Data Factory Pipeline i am using web activity. I have successfully refreshed power bi data flow from web activity now i need to get the refresh status and if it is "Complete" than i would like to refresh the data set also. But i am getting the error in screenshot when i try to get the refresh status of data flow, the confusing thing is when i get the refresh status using python script everything works fine.

Hi @Anonymous,

AFAIK, current power bi not able to configure conditional refresh based on other datasets/dataflows status.
I'd like to suggest you take a look at power bi automate, then you can create an MS flow with triggers that traced dataset status and refresh it based on specific conditions.

Microsoft Automate is yet upgrading, there is no such flow which can trigger from the refresh of the dataflow but thinking of the workaround we can create a Flow in Power Automate Which can trigger as the data is updated in SQL and your dataset is set to refresh automatically!!

I may think of another workaround of this doesn't suits your requirement, let me know!

There is a way if you create a custom connector expalined here, you can trigger dataflow refesh from MS Flow. Also set the flag to receive an email on completion. Than create a flow which will trigger after the email is received on completion of dataflow refresh to kick off the dataset refresh.
