We are building a Reporting Portal in our SaaS application using PowerBI embeded.
Some of the Reports and Dashboards that will be embeded use RLS.
We have been able to populate the UI with a list of Reports and Dashboards using the Rest API.
When embeding a Report the 'Report' REST api response fields include a DatasetId which can then be used to populate the EffectiveIdentity and get the embedToken.
The 'Dashboard' response does not include a list of reports or datasets from which dataset Id's can be obtained to populate the EffectiveIdentity.
How can dataset Id's be obtained from the Rest API for a given Dashboard Id?
thx.

It looks to me like you can get the tiles that are included in the dashboard, and the tiles include the datasetId's

The link provided by @vbigham is good for My Workspace. If you will use any other then you would need this API - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/rest/api/power-bi/dashboards/gettileingroup
