How to create a dataset from multiple excel files (located on different SharePoint - Team Sites)?

Hi,

With Power BI Desktop, we can create a dataset which connects to multiple excel files.

From Power BI Service, New -> Dataset, then click 'Get' button on the Files pane, input URL for SharePoint - Team Sites, navigate to the subfolders, I can select only one Excel file. A dataset with the same name (to the selected Excel file) would be created after the process, and I cannot find a way to add more Excel files to it.

I would like to create a dataset which connects to multiple excel files located on different SharePoint - Team Sites with Power BI Service. Can anyone help on this?

Thank You!

Hi @Anonymous ,

In Power BI Desktop, you could create a dataset that connects to multiple excel files

In Power BI Service, you could only create a dataset with one sharepoint sites.

But you could create a dataflow with multiple excel files in sharepoint firstly, then create a dataset with this dataflow.
