How to create a dashboard that displays pages from different reports.

I have created several reports, each report have visualisations that cover the entire page.

I need to be able to display the reports on 1 TV screen. I want the reports to be swapped within a certain time interval.

Is there any solutions for this?

I know that I can create a dash board in 1 page that displays visualistions from different reports, but this is not what I'am looking for.

Hey @TcT85 ,

Very good question. I've been contributing to helping people display Power BI content on TVs all the way back since 2018, and in the last year, I decided to make a new software from the ground up to do this, built exclusively for advanced Power BI slideshows. It's called Displagent, you can check it out here: https://www.displagent.io

I can support both Power BI reports and Power BI dashboards, and I saw that you specifically said you want to use Power BI reports. You can build extremely customizable Report slideshows in the app, like choosing specific tabs and/or bookmarks to use, choose their ordering, their individual durations, and a refresh interval.

More relevant to your specific question, I just had an early adopter ask me two days ago to build in a feature where he can show a different report on the same TV at different times throughout the day. So, for example:

  • Show report A from 8am - 12pm
  • Show report B from 12pm - 4pm

I'll be building that out very soon, so drop your email on my landing page or message me on here if interested; would love to try and help you!

You can use Power BI's slideshow feature to display your reports on a TV screen and have them automatically rotate at a set interval. Here are the steps to do this:

  1. Publish your reports to the Power BI service.
  2. Create a new dashboard in the Power BI service and add the reports you want to display to it as tiles.
  3. Open the dashboard and click the "Enter full screen mode" button in the top right corner.
  4. Click the "Slideshow" button in the bottom right corner.
  5. Set the time interval for each tile by clicking the gear icon on each tile and selecting "Tile details". Under "Display duration", set the amount of time you want the tile to display before rotating to the next one.
  6. Click "Start slideshow" to begin displaying the reports on the TV screen.

This will display the reports in full screen mode and automatically rotate them at the set intervals. You can also customize the settings for the slideshow, such as loop and shuffle, by clicking the gear icon in the bottom right corner.

Hi @jaweher899 ,
