Hello Everyone,
I am working on Apps in Power BI service and i am looking to enhance user experience. Insead of having user click on Go Back button that will take to apps page in Power Bi service. I want to create a Home Page button in Apps, when user clicks on it , it should directly take them to Home Page power Bi report that is embeded in url.
Has anyone implemented similar? If so could you please share steps or any resources that might help?
Thanks in advance for your assistance
Hi @Niranjan-Reddy ,
Do you want to add a page jump button to the workspace app? When a user clicks on it, they'll be taken to the report page that you've embedded on website.
If I understand correctly and you don't want to add a button to every report page, I suggest you put the button in a tile or new report, and then add the tile or new report to the App as new content. The user can find the button to switch to the home page report through the navigation bar on the left side of the App.
If you want to switch reports in the App, as far as I know, this is probably not possible, because the buttons in the report can only be used to switch between pages inside the report.
Best regards,
Mengmeng Li
Hi GilbertQ,
There are many reports in a single app, Approximately 14 Reports and few reports have 5 to 6 Pages in it. Each report has unique design. Is it fessible solution to add home page button in all the reports.
Thanks,
Niranjan
You could create a new report page with a link on the button that would do this for the users?
