I have a workbook that is published online for leadership team at my company. It has a web of like 10 data sources.
I have a separate workbook with completely unrealted data to the report that is published online. However, there is one key set of data in that workbook that leadership would like to view at the same time that they view all of the other data.
Is there a way to connect a single tab from one powerbi workbook to be viewed online with another powerbi workbook? So that everyone can be viewed all in one place?
What I would suggest doing is to import your unrelated data into the existing leadership teams report and that. way you can have all the data existing in a single report.
That isn't an option; the data sources are completely independent, and to pull in what is required/needed would turn the powerbi dashboard from a 4mb file to a 700mb file, and it would only be for one table/view.
I thought I read somewhere that there is a web app that can be used to bring in tabs from different files to make it look like one consolidated dashboard even tho data exists elsewhere. I am looking for that application
