How to Restrict Report Access to Specific Users within a Power BI Workspace?

Hello Power BI Community,

I have a workspace named `abc` in Power BI where I have published a total of 10 reports. I need to manage access to these reports with specific restrictions for different users. Here are the requirements:

1. **User Access**:
- **vivek** should only have access to "Report A" and "Report B"
- **vignesh* should only have access to "Report C" and "Report D"
- **avinash** and **manoj** should have access to all reports.

2. **Current Setup**:
- All reports are currently within the `abc` workspace.

**Question**:
How can I set up report-level permissions within a single workspace to ensure that each user can only view the reports they are authorized to access?

Any guidance or best practices on managing report-level access in Power BI would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

Hi. Yes. You can handle that with Power Bi Apps. A Power Bi App can be created 1 for each workspace. The App for the workspace will let you create audiences. The audiences are a delimited content of the workspace (selected reports) for delimited people (group or users).

You can read more about them in here:

I Hope that helps

hi, @manoj_0911

You can add users who can access each report in the workspace:
