Hide Tab for different Audiences

Audience view needs to hide tabs in reports not the whole report.

Can someone confirm this is correct or am I missing a feature?

Hi , @Anonymous

According to your description, you want to make different audiences see the different tabs in the report. Right?

If you want to control the access to the Power BI report pages (or tabs) in a way that some users see some pages, and some others see other pages, we need something called page-level security. However, Power BI, as of today, doesn’t support visual-level or page-level security. There is a workaround to do it.

Seems like Microsoft really missed on this.  Giving the ability to hide a full report but not tabs within the report.

Hi, @Anonymous

If you want to hide a full report in your workspace, you can try to create an app . The app can help you bind the reports and dashboards you want and you can share the app to others.

You can refer to this document:

Publish an app in Power BI - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
