Hello Experts, 

What is the best way to get a data lineage report from Power BI Data set?   I want to extract list of attributes from Power BI data set as a report. Purpose is to do impact analysis.

As far as I know Data lineage is not directly exportable as a report, it can be viewed in Power BI Service.

We usually recommend users to use usage metrics to analyze usage. You can see if it meets your needs.

Or you can check in audit logs to see if it helps you with your problem.

Thanks Caitlyn for sharing some details.  Even though it's specific to usage tracking data, will help to learn this area to come up with better data goverence,  metadata monitoring
