Groups - Add Group User - for Security group or distribution group

I am trying to give permissions on my work space to a secure group or distributed group but I am receiving Item not found or user not found. I know I can do that with Identifier but by using email is the question.

But the API is working perfectly for the individual users. I there anythign I am missing or is it limitation from the API?

Do we have any API to share the individual report which is published in the service?

@dhwani - Should be supported, have to specify the email address of the security/distribution group and specify a Principal Type of Group:

It is not working with the email alias , It is working with identifier from the AAD which I am aware.
