Hopefully a simple one this - is there a way for the end user to look at a matrix, and create custom groups of that data on the fly? We're getting a lot of requests for people to be able to group a given visual in multiple different ways, so it's not something that would be easily coded into the data model from a developer's standpoint.

Hi, @jthomson
Yes, in Power BI end users can create custom groups of data on the fly using the "Group" feature. To do this, the user can select the data points they want to group together in the matrix visual, right-click, and select "Group".
They can then name the group and the new group will appear in the matrix visual. This group can be expanded or collapsed as needed. Additionally, users can also create custom groups using the "New Group" button in the "Fields" pane, which allows them to create groups based on specific fields or criteria.
