Hello everyone,
I'm developing a custom visual and I need to make a call to an external service A to get some informations about the visualized data. So, the problem here is that I need A to understand what data is being visualized at the moment of the call. Of course, sending the whole dataset to A is not a reasonable option. So, I thought that maybe this would be possible if I sent A some metadata, such as the name of the dataset I'm using and the filters applied to the dataset, if any.
Is this possible? How do I know if filters are applied or not? If so, is it possible to know what filters are applied?
If you have an answer to my question or a better solution to my problem, please let me know!
Best regards,
Luca
