Hello,
I want to have admin access to my Power BI account, and for this, I need to add a TXT record to the domain's DNS. I have followed all the provided steps, but even after a week, I still can't get admin access.
The reason is:
We didn't detect that you added this new record to . Make sure the record you created at your host exactly matches the record shown here. If it does, please wait for our system to detect the changes. This usually takes around 10 minutes, although some DNS hosting providers require up to 48 hours.
Can anyone help me?
Hi. I'm sorry but making an account a Power Bi Admin doesn't have anything in common with DNS records. If you are looking for an answer about getting your custom domain to work as login for your organization microsoft tenant, then this might not be the place to ask for it.
If you just want your user to become a PowerBi/Fabric administrator, then it's a role that can be assigned to a user by the O365 global administrator. The global admin has a view for all active users and can grant the role for some of them. That way you can get admin control over the power bi of the organization.
I hope that helps,
Happy to help!
