Gateway on-premise does not update MS-Access files. All other file types work perfectly. Any help?

make sure the connection user has write access to that share.

The error occurred when we changed the server. Before that, the gateway ran without problems.

Gateways run on 64 bit.  you need to install the 64 bit Access engine driver on the gateway VMs.

Note that Access uses a lock file, and the Power BI gateway user account must be able to write to that file.

Try moving away from Access.

Where is the access database located? On a file share?

That's correct. On a folder share of a local server.
