Gateway connectivity issue

Hi Team,

 

I am trying to refresh the power bi report which was developed from google sheets input data. I published it to service and trying to connect gateway for it. But while i an trying to do gateway connection it throwed me below error. Please help me here.

Unable to create connection for the following reason: There was an error in the data gateway.

Details: onpremgateway: Value cannot be null. Parameter name: uriString Please have this information handy if you choose to create a support ticket. Hi @hchava1104 ,

Because Google Sheets is a cloud data source, after you create report in Power BI Desktop and publish it to the service, you need not create the data source for gateway, you just need to set the credentials for the dataset under dataset settings, then you could refresh.
