Gateway Error

I keep getting a data source access error in Power BI Service.

Can somebody please advise on possible solutions? I think I have exhausted the internet for solutions..

Are there any error messages? Please share relevant screenshots for further research.

On the premise of ensuring that the data credentials on the service are correct, please check whether the gateway is the latest version and whether the related processes of the gateway are started normally.

You are probably lacking an alias addition to the Gateway. Add the ID used to access the source on this in gateway settings.

It sounds like the gateway or user account you are using to refresh against doesn't have permissions to the data source, but more info would help.
