Gateway Connection not configured correctly

I have a gateway that has been operartional for over 6 months with 6 active connections.  The content of a dataset (SQL Table) associated with one of these connections changed recently.  Around the same time my Scheduled Refresh' started failing for this one connection.

When I accessed the SETTINGS for the dataset I saw that the Gateway connection was not configured correctly.

The MAPS TO box was empty so I selectected the appropriate Data Source Configuration I had created but there wa no reaction to the entry on the part of the form.  Typically in accepts the seeting and indicates the connection is now active.   I then went to the setting and reset the login information, but this had no impact.

I have 5 conncections that are working and an unbable to identify anything different associated with the one that is not.

Any suggestions on what I am missing?

Hi,

Most often gateway error are caused by credential definition in your data source, firewall settings, gateway settings or gateway version. I guess in your case it is likely the 1 data source that has had changes doesn't have its settings up-to-date. I would start there and if it is configured correctly try to look for other possible causes. So press the gear icon and double check your settings there.

I hope this post helps to solve your issue and if it does consider accepting it as a solution and giving the post a thumbs up!

I went back and examined the changes I had made.

I had added a new data file that I had not granted the gateway permission to access.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction
