Gateway Connection Issue with MySQL Dataflow (Power BI Online)

Hi community,

I was assigned the role of owner within the Power BI workspace. I began the process of "Taking Over" various dataflows in Power BI Online, and I encountered no issues until I attempted to take over the MySQL database.

When I entered my MySQL credentials (username and password), Power BI did not provide any response. Even when I intentionally input incorrect data, Power BI did not indicate that the credentials were incorrect.

I also tried connecting to the MySQL database in Power BI Desktop, and the connection worked perfectly. The issue seems to be specific to the "Take Over" process in Power BI Online.

If anyone has experienced a similar problem or has suggestions on how to resolve this issue, I would greatly appreciate your assistance.

As I mentioned, Power BI never provides any response, whether it's an error or a connection confirmation...

Also, Power BI does not provide any resources when I consult in Power Query to establish a connection with the MySQL DB.

Thank you,

  Martin

Go to all gateway cluster member VMs and confirm that each of them can see the MySQL database.
