Hi All,
Was wondering if anyone could help answer this question, I have a couple of power bi gateways installed in multiple locations and logged in with my account. I query data from these gateways using Power BI Dataflows. Here are the scenarios I'm considering,
1) If I were to change my password would I need to remote back in to the multiple locations and relogin to the gateway? Or will I simply need to relogin into Power BI Service and the dataflow will continue to work as it should?
2) 1) If I were to add MFA would I need to remote back in to the multiple locations and relogin to the gateway? Or will I simply need to relogin into Power BI Service and the dataflow will continue to work as it should?
3) If I were to change my password AND add MFA would I need to remote back in to the multiple locations and relogin to the gateway? Or will I simply need to relogin into Power BI Service and the dataflow will continue to work as it should?
@TonyGu if you change your password, you must update the password for each gateway you have installed.
You can do this by opening the gateway and updating the credentials.
If you add MFA, you must update the gateway credentials.
