Hi,
I'm connecting to a postgersql in python using psycopg2, in power bi desktop i'm using the pandas dataframe I created.
Now I want to publish the dashboard to power bi server but I can't seem to refresh it.
The main goal is to be able to pull data from the postgresql server, to python so I could work with it on pandas. Than to use this new table in power bi and eventually publish it 🙂
Thanks,
Yuval
Solved! Go to Solution.
you can configure personal gateway on any production server (running 24*7) as well
You will require personal gateway to run the Python script once published to web
But doesn't that confine the future dashboard to be refreshed only when my computer is active?
Eventually I want to have my dashboard be automaticlly refreshed (with a refresh schedule) just like dashboard with sources directly from the postgreSQL server.
Is there any other solution?
